In a significant initiative to bolster local healthcare resources, Alpha Hospital, in partnership with the Blood Bank, Mekelle Branch, successfully organized a day-long community blood donation drive on Saturday. The event, held at the hospital’s premises, witnessed an overwhelming response from staff, patients’ families, and the public, reflecting a strong spirit of community solidarity.

The campaign, themed “Give Blood, Give Life,” aimed to address the critical need for a stable blood supply in the region. Dozens of voluntary donors stepped forward to contribute, with the hospital’s medical team ensuring a safe, hygienic, and efficient donation process.
